SUPPORT FOR THE SLEWING RING REPLACEMENT
With over 20 years of expertise as a “Manufacturer” in the port cranes services, AXS INGENIERIE has been awarded a technical support contract for the replacement of the slewing ring on a CAILLARD kangourou crane.
This mission for a port operator located in Brittany aims to assist in drafting the technical specifications in order to launch a tender for the execution of the works.
Thus, our engineers will work in two stages:
– Gathering input data and specifying the client’s needs
– Drafting the technical program for the future contract works
The replacement of a slewing ring is a complex operation in the life of a port crane. Serving as the junction between the portal and the rotating part, its extraction and replacement must be carried out with great precision and all technical justifications in accordance with regulations and FEM rules.
Our team will therefore be careful to establish specifications meeting all the necessary requirements for this type of operation.
