AXS INGENIERIE will conduct a feasibility study for the addition of a cereal ship loader
SOCOMAC (A subsidiary of SOUFFLET Group) entrusts AXS INGENIERIE with a feasibility study for adding a new ship loader with a bigger capacity, in Canteleu, near Rouen.
About SOCOMAC
Subsidiary of the 2nd French exporter of cereals (SOUFFLET NEGOCE), SOCOMAC is a malthouse in Canteleu. The company manages operations of cereal handling and export in their region.
The feasibility study
AXS INGENIERIE will conduct a feasibility study for the account of SOCOMAC in order to analyze and demonstrate the possibilities for welcoming a new cereal ship loader. The analysis will take in consideration the strain of load lowering on the quays and the structures that carry the crane tracks.
This service will be carried out together with EIFFAGE ETMF.
AXS INGENIERIE will conduct:
- An inspection visit
- Design calculation with the new entry data of the ship loader
- Analysis for the reinforcement of the rail tracks and the conveyor’s support structure
The goal for our client, is the minimization of the modernization costs for the quay tracks, in order to welcome a new ship loader of a bigger capacity
